senior 55+ i cant switch?

aarp mentioned a plan for those 55+ i checked and i qualify it says to go into a store none are open in my area.  I called on tuesday and was told that it is not available on my account but they will see if they can add it and it should take 24 hours.  My current plan ends on the 25th so i am trying to get it switched to new cycle.

 

I call back today and they explain that this plan is not something they can just add it has to be available in my account.  Why offer a plan if i cant have it?  They do not have a answer for this.

 

How do i get my plan switched to the senior 55+ plan for me and my husband?

It’s not ‘offered’.   If you qualify you can get it.  
1.  You have to be on the (current allowed) unlimited plan.  

2.  There is a 2 line limit.

3.   Your location has to qualify.  Florida residents qualify.

55+ plan

as i said i qualify i am 56 i live in florida and i have 2 lines on my plan.

i said i checked and i qualified and it said to go into a verizon store but no stores are open so i called.

Yes, it isn't all that clear that there is another step to actually open the message.
