I am going to France for 2 Days will i be able to use my verizon phone (samsung flip phoe)& how much wiil it cost?

No you will not because most of the world uses the world standard GSM technology and Verizon uses U.S. proprietary CDMA.  But you are not out of luck.  Because Verizon's partner is British owned Vodafone you can rent a phone through them.  I've done this and it works nicely.  Browse around Verizon's website and look for the International tab and go there.

There is a warehouse in the US and they'll overnight a phone and charger for the country you are traveling to.  Seems like it cost around 3 bucks a day to rent the phone and incoming calls are free.  Outgoing calls are charged against your account. There instructions that will walk you through a procedure that will forward calls made to you usual cell phone directly to the rental phone.
