Recently, I purchased an Apple Watch Series 7 with cellular capability and activated it on the Verizon network. However, I'm experiencing persistent connectivity issues. Despite being in an area with strong Verizon coverage, my Apple Watch frequently loses connection to the cellular network, rendering features like calls, messages, and data inaccessible. This occurs even when my iPhone, which is on the same Verizon plan, maintains a strong signal.
Steps Taken:
- I've restarted both my iPhone and Apple Watch multiple times to see if the issue resolves itself.
- I've verified that my Apple Watch has the latest software updates installed.
- I've ensured that the cellular plan associated with my Apple Watch is active and properly provisioned by Verizon.
- I've tried unpairing and re-pairing my Apple Watch with my iPhone to see if that resolves the connectivity issue.
- I've contacted Verizon customer support, and they've assured me that there are no network outages or issues reported in my area.
Despite all these efforts, the connectivity problem persists. I rely on my Apple Watch for its cellular capabilities, especially during workouts and when I'm away from my iPhone, so resolving this issue is crucial for me. I'm reaching out to the Verizon community for any insights, suggestions, or similar experiences that might help troubleshoot and resolve this frustrating problem. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same issue with my daughter's watch-only cell plan. It will not work out of the blue with the same problems you're reporting.
We've gotten Apple to replace the watch, but we're still having the same problem.
