Apple Watch trade-in deadline while new watch is on Backorder

Hello, 

I preordered the new Apple Watch Series 8 and set up a trade-in for my Series 4. When checking out, it said that the Series 8 is backordered until November 4th. However, the trade-in agreement said I had 2 weeks after I receive the trade-in box to ship out my old watch. Will this mean that I will have to be without a watch until the Series 8 ships? or does it mean I have 14 days from the day I receive my new watch.
