Connect Apple Watch 6 to 4G LTE Network Extender

My two iPhones connect to my residential 4G LTE Network Extender, but my "paired-to-iPhone" Apple Watch Series 6 does not verify using the Network Extender for its unique Cell Num when I dial "#48"

What needs to be done to have the Apple Watch-6 benefit from the Network Extender's signal-strength when using its unique cell-num and the paired iPhone is powered-off?

It is always good to know your options when connecting your device, we'll be glad to help. In this case, the watch would not connect to the extender, as the phone is the one that would connect.

It's my understanding that when an iPhone that is paired with an Apple Watch is powered-on, then any calls sent (or received) from the watch or iPhone uses the iPhone's cell number, ...but when the iPhone is OFF and a called is placed from the watch, then the watch's own cell number is used.  Is this correct?

Thanks!

Great question! That is correct, any calls made from the watch while the phone is off will show the phone number from the watch.
