How do you retrieve missing photos? We had 60 pictures on the watch and all of a sudden there are only 16 (we didn’t delete any). Is there anyway to find them or get them back? Does the watch automatically delete pictures? They were only a month old (or less). Thank you!

We're not currently aware of a known issue with the Gizmo 3 deleting pictures. I recommend e-mailing the Gizmo team to make sure and see if there are any known issues or fixes to this: gizmo.feedback@verizonwireless.com

Oh goodness. We understand how concerning it would be to have all of his pictures disappear. Did the device have an update? We do recommend reaching out to the Gizmo Team to report the issue gizmo.feedback@verizonwireless.com.

Same issue, all pictures on son’s watch got completely wiped out. Anyway to restore them? Even most of the texts in a group chat got wiped out on the watch.

Apparently all pictures get wiped out after 30 days to free up space.

We just had this happen too! 😞
If things are being cleared out after 30 days, is there a way to manually remove photos so we don't lose any more memories?!

Hello, ABivins89. Help is here. Just to confirm, are you stating the photos are being removed from the watch itself?

Even my son is facing the same issue. Yes thats right pictures are being removed from the watch and by the watch itself.
Its very disappointing, please help us get this fixed and how can we restore the pictures that have been deleted.
Thank you.

I’m really sorry to hear that you lost those pictures on your Gizmo. That’s definitely frustrating, and we understand how important those memories are. Just a reminder that photos and videos are stored for 30 days before being removed to free up space, and they might be deleted earlier if your watch needs more storage. To help you keep your photos and videos safe, consider sending them to a caregiver via text. You can find more information here: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-307574/.

Experienced this as well. How can we prevent this from happening, or at least back up the media somewhere?

We're sorry about your Gizmo losing those pictures. That's never something we want to happen. Please keep in mind that photos and videos are saved for 30 days then automatically deleted to save storage, and they can be deleted sooner if more space is needed on the watch.
To preserve photos and videos, you can send them via text to a caregiver. Here's a link with more info: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-307574/

We had the same issue - my daughter is SO upset. This should be something that is clearly stated up front when deciding whether to purchase this device. It is NOWHERE in the paperwork or user guide that this will happen. I understand it has limited storage, but this is the first I am learning that there is a 30 day limit and my daughter has now lost photos that were very important to her.
