We bought two gizmo 3 watches for our kids. My wife downloaded the app and connected everything no problem. When I tried to connect on my phone it said my number was invalid. After deleting my account we tried to add me as a caregiver on her phone. It goes straight to the add a buddy screen and shows a watch icon next to my number. Every other contact on her phone we can add permissions and it recognizes them as a phone. I can't even be a buddy because my phone is not a gizmo watch. I have spent hours with Verizon tech support to no avail. Why does gizmo think my phone is a watch and why can't anyone at Verizon fix this?

Helpme1234567, we understand how important it is to have access and connect your device as a caregiver for the Gizmo Watch devices for your children. We know it is concerning to not have a resolution after troubleshooting. What type of device do you have? Is that device on the most up to date software? When you were working with technical support, can you share what troubleshooting steps we completed with you?
