When making a call from my samsung galaxy smartwatch 6 Lte my smartwatch number shows on the persons device that i am calling instead of my host cell phone number.
However, If someone calls my cell phone number i can answer on my smartwatch.
Talked with Verizon tech support was told they will get back with me in 3 or 4 days.
Has anyone else had this problem if so how was it resolved?
Thanks

Hello, presar12. Help is here and thank you for this info. May I ask, when making calls from the smartwatch, do you have the watch connected via Bluetooth? Is the smartphone near you when this happens? Each line does have its own phone number but just want to check.

The issue is not resolved. I went out again this morning without my cellphone, Made a call
from my smartwatch and asked the the person receiving the call what number does it show that i calling from and it was my smartwatch phone number and according to verizon faq's the person on the receiving end of my smartwatch call should see my cellphone number not the smartwatch phone number even if i don't have my cellphone with me.

I have this same issue with my Watch 6. I called tech support a couple days ago. She said it was a caller ID issue. She switched my caller ID from my watch number to my cell number. She said it may take up to 72 hrs....really?......for the change to take affect, so I don't know if it has fixed it, yet.

Update....... The person I call from my watch.....disconnected from my cell.....now sees my cell number instead of my watch number. I still cannot receive texts to my watch......disconnected from my cell.......that someone sends to my cell number and it still shows on their end, when I send a text, my watch number.

I also get all types of calls that are related to the Watch number which is very annoying. Obviously verizon number share is very flawed. Doesn't make sense to give my Watch it's own number that gets all kinds of spam calls when I don't even want that number. The Watch needs to have the SAME number that my main phone has. Flawed! You all need another system when it comes to number sharing.
