I have been having this issue while trying to activate a new Apple Watch Series 7, as have many people, for two weeks now (since December 12, 2021). This has nothing to do with Apple and is entirely Verizon's fault, as has been confirmed by multiple Verizon reps I have spoken with. The fact that a company of Verizon's size is incapable of allowing its customers to be able to enter their CORRECT, USPS-VALIDATED ADDRESS for emergency calls in the e911 system is either a colossal mistake or a willful breach of contract. This is not acceptable or legal. Entering a "bogus" address just to be able to activate a new device is fraudulent.
Verizon, please advise ASAP.
