My phone, (I believe it's an LG Cosmos) just broke, and it's not coming back. A friend offered me her old iPhone, and i'm wondering how simple it is to switch from non-iphone to iphone on Verizon. I'm poking around my Cosmos and I can't find an SD card (I see a micro SD slot that is empty, but no regular SD slot). Am I missing something?
so there are kind of two questions here.
edit: so i just looked online and I confirmed that the Cosmos does NOT come with an SD card.

An iPhone is not a basic phone - you would need to add a data plan. What plan are you on now? The SD card is extra memory for photos, music, etc. An iPhone does not have an SD slot, and you said your micro SD slot on the Cosmos is empty, so that's a non-issue.
Call Customer Service and they can get the iPhone activated, as long as it a Verizon branded phone.
