Hello Gebeho,
Great question! Memory is important to save the items we use most. The HTC Windows 8 device comes with:
• Onboard Memory (Actual available/formatted amount may be less)
• 16 Gigabyte
• Onboard RAM Memory
• 1 Gigabyte RAM
• USB Mass Storage
There is no additional storage slot for an external Micro or Mini SD Card.
Thanks,

You don't add SIM card memory ... the SIM card is what connects you to VzW's network. The HTC Windows Phone 8X doesn't have an SD card (i.e., memory card) slot. It comes with 16 GB of internal memory, but only 10.9 GB is available to the user.

Cloud storage would work if you have wi-fi access or unlimited data, or if you watch your data usage. And there's plenty of other cloud storage options besides Verizon's.

The OP may want to consider using Microsoft's OneDrive if they decide to go the cloud storage route.

Box cloud storage gave me 100 GB when my friend sent me to some web page he found. I use them very often.
I pay for Apple icloud at $24.99 a year. I just love it for all these Apple devices we own.
Good Luck

There are no options for the 8X by HTC. You could consider purchasing a different phone with a larger internal memory or one that has an external SD card slot for expandable memory
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

The only other option I can think of other than what Ann154 suggested is to use a USB flash drive.

Tiki, I don't believe that is what Ann said. See above.
Good Luck

You mean this one? Which I was referring to.

When I said I didn't follow your post ... you said "Tiki, I don't believe that is what Ann said. See above" and quoted her reply in the thread. I didn't follow what that had to do with my elaboration (per the OP's latest post) on my earlier suggestion of using a flash drive.

When you stated what Ann said, it did not say use a usb drive in her response. She was saying get another device with an SD drive.
Yes you said " USB Drive", but the specs given in another reply did not include a SD slot or USB attachment in the device. That was what I was pointing out.
Then the original poster wanted to use a USB drive and asked how to do it. Your reply was accurate but I questioned if the device had such a cable to use.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR FEEDBACK, I LIKE THE SUGGESTION OF THE USB FLASH DRIVE (I ALREADY HAVE A COUPLE), BUT HOW DO I CONNECT THE USB FLASH DRIVE TO THE PHONE AND PLAY MUSIC FROM IT?

The flash drive I was referring to is a dual flash drive, i.e., one end fits in your computer, the other end fits in your phone.
If you have standard USB flash drives, you might want to purchase an adapter that would allow you to connect the USB flash drive to the micro USB port on your phone.

That solution is pretty good. The problem I have found with one of my tablets is getting the micro adapter.
I think I purchased mine direct from Sony.
However I am not positive if the cable to use the thumb drive is readily available.
Good Luck
