My Convoy 2 phone will not display the menu, it flashes on then off and the send key does not work, what cann I do?

I have a convoy 2 phone that is acting up. When I hit the menu button it shows for a second than goes away, also my send button will not send a call. What can cause this. The phone gets used very little and has not been abused in any manner.
