My wife's Samsung Brightside is Displaying the Wrong Time & Date.

My Wife's Brightside and my Grand Daughter's smartphone are showing the wrong time and date, but my Galaxy S5 is correct. Doesn't the date and time come from the cell site? What could be wrong with the two phones?

As an update. My Grand Daughter's phone is an iPhone5 and I have found a lot of issues with the date and time problems with those. But my Wife's phone is the Samsung Brightside and hers is randomly changing date and time also. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try *228 option 2 for brightside. yes should be controlled by the tower on iphone 5 go in the setting and make sure the date and time are set to automatic Under general.  or carefully remove the SIM card and power cycle that iPhone
