In the course of about 2 days my HTC One M8 doesn't recognize any headphones plugged in AND my HTC Dot View just stopped working. Also it is overheating and the battery doesn't last even a day - with very few apps at all. Any clues out there? I've had the phone for just about a year.@
Have you done a soft reset; basically reboot the phone? Install any new apps or anything in the last two days that might have caused the problems you are seeing; in regards to Dot View?
It's possible the contacts might be broke and not registering the headphones when you plug them in.
Clvictor, that is highly abnormal for a HTC One. We are here to help. How long has this been going on? Have there been any changes made to the device at all since it started?
