Since Windows 8.1 update, cannot access internet connections. Have performed a soft restart, no help. please advise.

Since Windows 8.1 update, cannot access any internet sites when not in a Wi-Fi connection area.   Have done a soft restart.  Please advise.

We want to make sure you're able to use your data when not using WiFi, bandgirl4. If you go to Settings>Cellular SIM> is Data connection on? Is data roaming set to roam?

Is data roaming set to roam? YES

I have found that turning OFF my Wi-Fi connection works (so connection is via my cellular data), but then I have to remember to turn it back on when I'm back at home or in a Wi-Fi location.
