Not passing through, that's where my house is. Same problem happens at work (45066), while driving, over the holidays in Illinois and Iowa (cities not countryside)...

This just started for me yesterday. I'm on an LG Exalt VN220, calling from near the corner of PV Drive South/West and Hawthorne Boulevard in 90275. Right now, we're in lockdown and I would like to keep connected with friends and family, as well as needing this phone to work from home. Can someone please get this resolved quickly?

ppayne3, making sure you are able to stay in contact with your friends and loved ones during this time is vital. Allow us the opportunity to further investigate the details of your concern. When did your calling concern start? Does this happen to every phone call? Can you please clarify if this concern only occurs in your home? Additionally, are your other services impacted (text, data)?

I am also having this exact same issue on two different phones in S6 and an S8 Galaxy I am in the exact same area code so it's crazy to think that it could be the location and the towers being used by Verizon

I'm having the exact same issue. Calls are muted intermittently - not a signal or button issue - just no sound on either end. First was w/ an iPhone 8 and now w/ an iPhone XR. It's definitely a Verizon network issue - confirmed after several re-boots, updates, restores etc. - all on different phones.

That's not what we want to hear about you having the same service issues as another community member, Sidehill1. Let me find out more details about your specific service issues and find a solution to get the audio problem fixed. Also, to have the audio issue since you had an iPhone 8 to a new iPhone XR is a great concern. How long did you have the iPhone 8 before going to the iPhone XR? What are your city, zip code, and the nearest intersection? Does this no sound issue happen in only one location or anywhere you go? Are you using a Bluetooth device? Please share more specific details so we can find a better solution.

Verizon reps keep responding with the same answers although people have made it clear that they've tried all the "fixes" Verizon suggests: turn off Bluetooth, reset network settings, turn phone on and off, etc. This is clearly a Verizon issue and not an issue with the phones.--not when people are reporting the problem from brand new iPhones, new Samsung phones--any manufacturer--and I have called and been on tech support for over an hour, but the phone does the same thing.
Really sick to death of Verizon not acknowledging that the problem is THEM. I'm switching to another carrier next week. Enough of this garbage!

Did you recently change phones or your sim card? I just had this problem and I used my old sim card in my new phone, it was not compatible with my new phone for some reason. It worked for a I few months but kept getting worse. It's fine since the sim was changed

Problems with most calls; my voice is fuzzy, unclear, I fade in and out, get cut off etc. I can usually hear the other person. Also callers tell me they get other voices cutting into calls.

Briege888, making sure that you are able to have a true quality conversation is essential. I would like to complete some troubleshooting on the device to see if we can rectify the problem. What is the make and model of your device?

Thanks, Briege888. Do you have a protective film or case on your phone? Is the sound quality the same while on speaker phone?
