my phone is broken but i have an old verizon phone still does anyone know how i can switch from the broken phone to the old one online? ive done it before but i dont remember how please help

Dial *228 from the "new, old phone" use option 1, it should ask for the mobile number you are trying to activate, then it may ask for your account password. Then the phone will activate. There is no need to get online for it. I've done it several times.
