8.1 official for the Icon and on Verizon in general

Really looking forward to the official 8.1 update with cyan...what is the issue?  I love the Icon and Windows phone.   Whenever I have contacted Verizon (store)  they always push me away from Windows phones and always give them a bad space in the store.
