My previous phone was a Droid and had the option to set your master volume and alarm volume separate from each other. My new Windows phone has no such convenience, at least I haven't been able to find a way to do it and neither has any personnel that I've spoken with in stores. It would be the bees knees if they made an update to include this feature. I wake up before my spouse and the loud alarm is not only unnecessary but also disruptive. So I end up having to turn my master volume down and during the day I miss calls or messages as a result of the low volume. Sure I could turn it down every night and turn it back up in the morning, but this is a smartphone. Should it not have such conveniences?
