I downloaded it with no apparent problems, but features were missing: the ability to block calls, FM radio, and a few others. I called costumer service, was transferred to tech support, then had a three-way conversation with Nokia support. Nokia checked into it and called me back five minutes later on another line. We did a soft boot - turning off the phone, then pushing the power button and the down volume button in tandem. The phone powered up and all was well.
So if you have a problem with Amber after downloading, give that a try.
