I opened a line on my current plan for my grandparents. Needless to say, they arent a fan of my old droid, and when we did this the guy that opened it said that with my current plan if we got a basic no data phone it would go from the extra 50 a month to 10. I still cannot find an old phone that doesnt require data added. Any suggestions would be very appriciated! She wants something that has decent sized keys, easy to use, ect!

Check out the LG Chocolate Touch. It has a good sized screen, which means the on-screen buttons are good sized, and it has voice-recognition, so you can call people just by saying their name. It also has a really nice feature: a separate button on the side of the phone that turns on speaker-phone.
I will do all the online things like web & email but for this you do need a data plan. But you do not have to have the data plan, in which case the phone only talks. Ditto for texting - you can disable all these features from the VZ website and basically end up with a dumb phone that just talks at minimal cost.

I recently saw that Verizon Wireless announced a Cosmos 2 would soon be available. It might be available now. The press release was a few weeks ago.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

My wife has a Samsung Haven. Not sure if you can still buy those from the Verizon store or not (we got ours a little over a year ago.) It's a flip phone, has large-ish keys and the screen has big bright letters. No camera. It supports Text messaging. It comes with only a few standard ring tones.
All in all, it's a nice basic phone, with no features.
