Looks like HTC is bringing a winner. Only hope it comes to Verizon.

Sites like WPCentral and WMpowerUser are reporting that phone is headed to ATT or T Mobile.  No CDMA Mango phones have been announced in the states yet.  That  Fujitsu that came out is a CDMA phone, but Japan only.  It has some pretty awesome specs on.

It's official: KDDI launching Fujitsu IS12T starting August 25th

The 32GB phone with a 13.2MP camera, water proof case and latest-generation Qualcomm chipset/GPU....

Verizon should get that or something just LIKE that.

at&t released their fall line up, http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/24/atandts-fall-and-winter-2011-roadmap-leaked-in-spreadsheet-glory/ and there are two WP7 Manage devices on the list.

I wish VZW wasn't so tight lipped about the release schedules and tell us when and what WP7 devices are coming out this fall.  This would help me decide if I am to leave and go to another carrier or not :smileyhappy:

I agree. If AT&T gets the that HTC 4.7 inch Eternity\Omega, I will be taking my $196 dollars a month over with me. Would love to stay with Verizon, buts it appears they really do not want to support Windows Phones.

Hmm, I haven't thought too much about switching, but maybe it's not such a bad idea?  I'm on an old TouchPro 2 and it's on it's last legs.  I need the Exchange support. I guess I'll give VZW a bit more time and then switch.

Same here, been holding on to my TP2 since its release waiting for a "second gen" WP7 phone with Mango and a better screen size then the TP2.

I'm interested in what Nokia will bring to the table with WP7 but I cannot wait till next year for a new phone :smileywink:

Hopefully when HTC makes their announcement next week they'll be a CDMA phone in the mix.  The only problem with VZW track record even with the TP2 they were the last to get the phone.  Like I said before I cannot wait till next year.

If any of the VZW moderators are reading this please pass it along to those that matter.  There are folks that want better WP7 devices than what you have to offer today.

...and Assurion does not have any more TP 2 devices. I'm in the same boat and I wish Verizon would tell us their plans.

I am so frustrated with Verizon.  I wrote the thread below asking for more Windows 7 Phones in June:

I got this as a standard response and no updates since:

I have been holding out for a Windows Phone 7 since last year, and Verizon took their time to release only one phone with outdated specs.  Windows 7 Phone is clearly gaining momentum with the release of Mango, and MS looks to be investing for the long haul.  Why doesn't Verizon embrace the potential customers waiting for them to provide better hardware?  Or at least tell us that they officially don't intend to so we can go somewhere else?  And please, I'm not interested in an iPhone.

Yea - I sent them an e-mail to and got a phone call stating that they're listening, but refuse to tell us what's going on and what their plans are.

It is my hope that they're going to release several WP7 phones (with latest updates) that work on their 4G/LTE and they're just waiting on hardware that support it.  (Although that hope is very small.)

Hopefully HTC's annoucement tomorrow will give us some news if a newer CDMA WP7 device is coming to Verizon soon.  I too am waiting for the 2nd generation of WP7 hardware.  Will be very dissapointed if it takes a long time for this to happen on Verizon.  If I have to wait til next spring for a new WP7 phone Verizon, I mine has well, go to ATT or Sprint when my contract is up in April.  I have my last annual upgrade I am saving right now for a new WP7 device.
