good luck. att certainly isnt cheaper. they do offer a better selection of basic phones but only one free with a contract. I have voiced my complaint to verizon after being a customer for 20 years. my complaint falls on deaf ears. verizon is more interested in the quality of the network and could give a crap about thier phones. even the higher end phones have some real issues. a better network withlittle choice is verizons business model. although the other carriers are also reducing thier basic phone stocks and in the next few years there will be hardly any out there unless you want a data plan.
