Can I use an AT&T HTC 8x with Verizon?

I want to purchase a new phone.  I don't have an upgrade available for a year.  I found

an HTC Windows Phone 8X 16 GB unlocked for AT&T/Tmobile.

Can I use this for Verizon?  Will this phone work with internet etc through Verizon

No it wouldn't work for Verizon, that's why it's for AT&T/T-Mobile

How about a suggestion for a good phone for Verizon similar to the HTC?

I have a Droid Razr, but both have failed.  I don't want that one again.

I am trying to keep the price around 100 or slightly above.

Any suggestions?

Well, are you more interested in the W8 platform or are the phone specs more important?

You can get a HTC 8X for Verizon. I would check e-bay or swappa.com, just make sure it has a clear ESN.

Since you are currently under contract you can buy it from Verizon directly for $399.99 full price brand new.
