Backup Assistant Plus is giving me an error saying "Sorry, there was a problem accessing Backup Assistant Plus. Please try again later." Then it sends me a text with my pin saying I need it. Help?

Can you log in to your BackupAssistant on the computer, and see your contacts in MyVerizon?

I have had nothing but problems with Verizon's Backup apps. On my BlackBerry, Backup+ caused duplicate/triplicate contacts.
Your best bet is to create a free Microsoft Outlook/Hotmail/Live account and sync contacts wirelessly to that account and avoid the Verizon apps.

This, drop Verizon's backup app and go with a Microsoft account and backup to OneDrive. It's seamless and it works properly.

I just got a replacement Lumia 928 and have been having the same issue. I am able to access my account online through the Verizon website both on my phone and my computer and I can see all of my contacts, but when I try to sync them the loading bar just spins and nothing happens. I have used Backup Assistant Plus successfully before so I don't know if this is a problem with the new phone or what is going on. I tried googling it too but couldn't find anything that helped.

You are WAY better off signing up for a free Hotmail, Outlook, or Live email account and setting up that to sync your contacts. And they're much easier to access on a computer this way too. This is really how WP8 was designed to work anyway. Head for the cloud!!

Hi shutout33- Let's get your contacts back where they belong! Have you tested the app on cellular data? Please search the Windows Strore for Backup Assistant Plus to see if an update is available for the application. I look forward to getting this resolved!
Thank you,

Hey there. I just bought the Icon this week and was getting the same error....Turns out there's an update in the App store you need. Got the update and had all my contacts restored within 2 min. Hit the "app" icon and then "Verizon" and there it is. This was driving me nuts to. Hope that helps
