We want Windows Phone 7 on the Verizon network and would like you to release these devices very soon too. I understand you have lots of love for Droid and the iPhone and those devices are very nice. Just the same, they don't speak to most of us here and we want... well, what we want in the end and that is WP7, please.

I love my Zune and being on Xbox Live, so Windows Phone 7 is the perfect device for me as an end user. Not to mention I'm looking at building Apps and work in .Net already. Sorry if you had bad luck with the KiN, pretty cool device in general, but its not WP7 and not what most of us wanted. Should have waited to roll those out to well after WP7 had launched in my opinion.

Make us happy, release WP7 next month.

I'm with you...  On what we want, as well as working in .NET and wanting to dev for the platform.  Some like android, some like iphone, and some want WP7.  Give your customers what they want!

Zune music subscription rocks! I can get pretty much any song for my Zune HD.

The wireless syncing with my computer is also a huge benifit that other OSes don't have. I just leave my computer up and it get's new podcasts, etc. and when my Zune HD is charging, it gets fresh content for the next day.

In my fantasy wish land with the unicorns - Verizon is waiting to do a really HUGE realease of WP7 with like 6 devices, all of which are LTE 4G. Also, their advertizing and marketing of WP7 will make the Droid campaigns look weak and simplistic.

I'm sure that's why it's taking Verizon sooooo long. They want to do it up right.

Wish List:  Windows Phone 7.5 with LTE on a HTC phone with a great slide out keyboard, and a rich 4.0" diagonal tilting screen. (similar to the HTC Touch Pro 2)  Please don't fill the phones memory with extra Verizon software.  Let us pick and choose what we want and need.  Come on Verizon, be a leader.

Once VZW gets the WP7 I will jump carries! Please add WP7 so I can use VZW.

I would prefer the first phone to be Nokia, but I know that's not coming until closer to 2012.

I want to add my voice to the list of people looking for the phone on the network.  It would be nice to see it before every other carrier has their next generation stuff ready to go.  I got bitten on the Verizon network with the Touch Pro already.  How about getting out a device.   Since the Trophy has been (sort of officially) announced, release it already.  I would love to see the Windows Phone 7 Pro, but I will take what I can get.  I have even seriously considered going to a carrier that can actually deliver the goods.

I hope this new discussion group means that someone is actually taking notice at Verizon.

Release the phone stoo this game, we know what we want and it is a WP7 otherwise, as soon as I can I am taking my business to where I am welcome with a WP. That Simple. Now I am hearing another date....May 12, it is getting boring and annoying big Red.

Very refreshing to hear folks that are educated about what they want in a device and don't want it because it is trendy, comes in white, or lets them scan their latte at the register at Starbucks. (No particular group in mind, of course).

It is also refreshing to see that there is an Android user who doesn't troll us and try to convince us to go google.  I thank you for respecting our opinions, and not trying to convert us.  My hat's off to you.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you will find that Android users have an attitude, or will try and convince you to switch phones.

The Android vs iphone "thing" is a different situation. The iphone was first out of the gate. It became trendy and popular among teenaged girls who listen to Britney Spears and soccer moms, among others.

Google came along with Android that took the basic smartphone principles and expounded on them and came up with what we Android users thought was a better system.

Combine that with the variety and open-ness of Android phones and BOOM Android quickly grabbed 50% of the smartphone market, with the iphone falling to 25% and Windows quickly biting at their heels.

As more people become educated and understand the differences and the choices (as you expressed in your post) the numbers of folks using Android and Windows phones continue to increase.

I am impressed with the Windows phone and would entertain the thought of owning one.

It's really going off on a tangent, but "who stole what ideas from who" between Microsoft and Apple goes back decades.

And before anyone claims Google and Microsoft ripped off the iphone, remember it's all one large technological incestuous conniving lawsuit happy cesspool.
