Sorry that you and Tidbits don't have the connections that I do, but dispite what you believe (which I really don't care about), what I have posted on here is FACTS!   Just because I have contacts with inside information, doesn't mean I'm going to expose those contacts to anyone, especially not you or Tidbits, no matter how much you clammor that you don't believe it.

I will say that the same people that I spoke with have similar connections to the contacts WindowsCentral have and they have CONFIRMED what I have been saying.  Want proof, go read their article!  They wouldn't be able to PRINT it if it wasn't true.

And you don't have the same contact's that I do which escalated my case higher than yours.  Sorry if that makes you feel less important, but....  😞

Ha ha ha ha!!!  You're living in a fantasy world!  Trust me, there is BAD blood between Microsoft and Verizon at this point, but Microsoft is taking the high road.  They are being the "grown-up."  Thank about it though, Verizon got an EXCLUSIVE on a FLAGSHIP device (some would say the best Windows Phone in the United States) that was supposed to be fully supported by Verizon.  Instead, they ACTIVELY DISSUADED sales of the device (documentation exists) and then "retired" the device because of "lack of sales."   Do you REALLY think Microsoft appreciates this?  Do you really think Microsoft isn't fully aware of this?  Wake up man!

What that article states has nothing to do with your claims.

You have been claiming Verizon has had the update since July 2014 and refuses to release it.

You have however been told by myself and others Tidbits included that you have no idea who has what and that it is quite possible Verizon rejected it and sent it back.

So the article bears out that Verizon is not the one who actually had it. However you claimed through super secret conversations that it was Verizon that refuses to release it. You were and are totally wrong.

Just the tweet by Microsoft and the link you provided show you did not have any prior knowledge.

You are going to wait just like the rest.

Per your previous postings on not getting your "Android" update it appears your "information" is either faulty or simply fantasy.

Now the article states maybe in 2015 and as I previously said you and others will get the updates or not when they are ready to do so.

The initial posting on all this Windows junk was "complain to the FCC" of which I gave factual information to one and all that they had no authority on any carrier to give updates.

The branching out to this person said, she said, secret squirrel said etc. Has been shown to be bogus.

Go back and read all these Windows threads and you will see your "insider" information could not be proven.

I spoke to Bill Gates this morning and he told me that if any information was leaked by one of his people he will fire them and call me back. (Notice this is the same type of statement's you are claiming and I can spoof it to show executive intervention. However like you I spoke to no executive at Microsoft)

But nice try!

It really doesn't mean anything. That page is static and is not up to date with what is actually going on internally at Microsoft or Verizon Wireless.

It was released 12/6/2014. My phone auto updated from using Preview for Developers to 8.1. I now have Cortana on my home screen.

jkallinen, Cyan update is firmware, what you received was an Operating System update. Firmware currently requires Verizon approval so that is why people have come to these forums asking where is cyan (firmware) update at...The firmware opens up the ability to use more of the features in the new operating system such as 4K camera on select phones as well as the ability to use currently "greyed out" settings in the preview for dev. version among other things.
