Difficult to develop WP7 Apps without a phone and I don't want to leave Verizon

I've been with Verizon since 1993.  My team is currently developing beta WP7 apps for doctors.  While my team gets to test these on their WP7 phones from other providers, I'm stuck with a computer simulation.  I'm hanging on as ling as I can, but if something doesn't come out soon, I seriously have to look into other providers.

I've got mine!!  Now once I've played with it for a couple of weeks, I'll be able to start writing apps for our docs!

if you're legit send an inquiry to Brandon Watson about developer device or discount to buy a developer device. Once you have an at&t device you migth even want to change and open opportunities for more devices on a better timeline

I've heard about developer devices, but I thought that was limited to Microsoft employees.  I'm giving Verizon until May 12 (the latest leaked date), and if it's not available, I'll definitely be in contact!

Microsoft  has a developer purchase portal over on Zones.com. They have 6 devices available that purchase. You can find them here:

Best of luck.

I actually sent Brandon Watson several emails and tweets, as well as replying to one of his blog entries, and never got a response.  I had heard good things about him, but he didn't seem to see me as worthy of responding to.
