Does the Samsung Rouge still need a data plan?

With all the changes that Verizon has made, I don't think the Rouge needs a data pack anymore. But I'm not sure so I am hoping someone here knows.

Thank you

The samsung rogue is not a smartphone, so if you don't want to use it for the internet, you wouldn't need to pay for the package, but if you do use it, I would suggest the 10$ 75mb package for your phone. Otherwise it's 1.99/mb used without a package

It was my understanding that Verizon does not offer the $10 data plans

anymore, is that not the case?

That is not the case, they still offer the 10$/75MB plan for basic phones, but they have the option to go to 2gb if preferred (which I'm sure you wouldn't prefer) Smiley Happy

This is all correct. There is still a $10/75MB data plan available for basic phones only. And the Rogue no longer requires a data plan if you don't want one.
