Exactly what is considered a notification on the LG Exalt LTE?

The manual indicates...

Notification icons report the arrival of new messages, calendar events,

alarms, as well as ongoing events, such as when you’re on a call.

What about missed calls and voice messages? It is a new phone and I see notifications is the up button. Is that where I see everything that is pending?

Getting information about how notifications of missed calls and new voicemails on the LG Exalt LTE is an important concern. An icon (which looks like a tape reel) for a new voicemail will display on the phone when you get a new voicemail. As far as a missed call, this will show in the call logs screen with an icon that is an arrow pointing to the right and upward. Does this clarify?
