The reason Verizon isn't supporting WP is because they are moving to a full 4G network and there are no WPs that are 4G that they can sell.
Yes, I know the Titan, Radar, and 900 exist, but they are tied to AT&T/T-mobile somehow.
When Windows Phone 8 comes out this fall, Verizon has already stated that they will support it:

That is more than what they did with WP7.

I've said that a lot of times in their posts which gets overlooked as I am a shill or I must work for Verizon. They'll complain still.
