Currently i have a LG octane and its starting to slowly but surely die on me. i want a new phone but not the same one that i have. my uncle who recently bought the apple 4s does not like it and is willing to give it to me.? any one have any advice or personal experience to upgrading to a smart phone.?

Is your uncle's iPhone 4S under contract? That would be huge if it was. Are you willing to pay the additional data plan charges, because I don't think the LG octane is a SmartPhone, it is a Feature Phone and would require a $30.00 data plan.Other than the cost of the plan, you could activate the phone over your Octane and it would not require any extension of your contract. That is, of course, that the iPhone is not currently under contract.
