Once I powered down I have a lightening bolt along with a gear like circle. What does that mean?

That's a great question Red388859. The icon means the phone is charging. Do you see this when phone isn't on charger?

Thanks for the response. Try rebooting the device to see if it goes away. May I ask are you using the original charger with the device? Any liquid/physical damage on the device?
