How Do I Get Rid Of The Black Screen On My Convoy 3?

Have Samsung Convoy 3. Black screen. Cannot turn off. Needs to be plugged in or screen goes dead. At top of screen, it says USB Download Mode. At bottom it says Bootblock Version: Ver U680:MJ2. Have removed battery & replaced it. What next? Get new phone?​

When you pulled out the battery was the phone powered on?

If you are able to access the settings, you will want to perform a Factory Data Reset.

1. From the main screen, select MENU.

2. Select Settings & Tools.

3. Select Phone Settings.

4. Select Security.

5. Enter the security code then select OK.

6. Default is the last 4 digits of the phone number.

7. Select Restore Phone.

8. Select Yes.

9. Press OK.

10. Enter the security code then select OK.

          -Default is the last 4 digits of the phone number.

Check to see if you are still covered in warranty. If not, you will need to upgrade.

Thanks for the info. Can't even get from the screen I described to menu. It's totally frozen. When I got up this am it was off, so I removed the battery & replaced. Didn't make a difference. New phone ordered. Thanks.
