What do you want to accomplish by "adding a name" to the account? There can only be one account owner, one name on the bill, one person ultimately responsible for the bill. However, you, as account owner, can assign account managers who have authority to make changes to the account, and purchases on the account. Go to your homepage at verizonwireless.com, and on the left side menu, under Manage my Account, you'll see "Assign Account Managers".
You can also assign names to the phones on your account, so when the phones are pictured on the home page, there is a name associated with that phone. As you click on each device, there is a NEW! feature right under the picture that says Edit Device Name .... dd the name of who has that phone.
If you want your husband to be financially responsible for the bill, he will need to do an Assumption of Liability to put the bill in his name, and take yours off the account. There are no "joint accounts", if that's what you mean by "add a name to the account". Adding account managers is as close as it gets.
