Use gmail or yahoo or hotmail. Those can be accessed on a basic phone, at least thru the browser.

Drvngmssdsy,
We certainly know how fun ringtones are to have on your phone. Let’s roll up our sleeves to get these ringtones to your phone. Did you download these ringtones from the Verizon Wireless website? If not from our site, where did you download the ringtones from? Have you been able to plug your phone into your computer? Does your computer recognize your phone?

I downloaded my favorite ringtones from zedge.net. When I plug in the
phone to the USB port I get 2 options. One is to run
VerizonSWUpgradeAssistantLauncher.exe or to Open folder to view files.
When I open the folder to view files I can see
a tools folder and about 8 files. There is no place to move the
ringtones from my computer to the phone. Also when
the phones display goes blank the phone disappears from My Computer.

Can you email or text them to yourself? Attach in an email from PC and send to yourself, open on phone and download or save?

I sent the ringtones as an attachment to an email I sent to my phone
number at vtext.com and verizon removes the attachment.
I don't know how else to send it to myself.

Got it I sent it to my phone at vzwpix.com. Stored the attachment on the
phone, and set it as my ringtone.
Thank You very much. I had given up.
