If you are using Verizon's basic voicemail, press 7 during playback of the message(s) you want to erase. You'll hear a voice confirmation that the message has been erased.

We want you to be able to always easily manage your messages. Dial in to your voice mail by calling *86. Once password entered press 1 to listen to messages. As you listen to messages choose the option to erase for each one.
