I have an LG VX9200 Env 3 cell phone. When I text using the internal keyboard, I don't get initial caps at the beginning of each sentence. My Text Entry Mode is set for Abc (initial caps). All my text is lower case. I have to press the SHIFT key each time I start a new sentence to get a capital letter. Even though the Abc radio button is checked in Entry Mode, it defaults right away to abc mode after I begin typing I don't want to look stupid when I text. I have perfect grammar and that really bothers me. Can anyone remember when they used this phone years ago if the same thing happened to you?

You have to hit shift. The phone although designed for texting was not designed to automatically shift for you.

The ABC mode also should I mention is for the outer keypad. On the inner keyboard there are no rules; similar to typing on a com keyboard if you will.
