got a new LG Exalt...I can't find the directions to set up the VM passcode....when I dial *86 and then hit #, the recorded info does not start the set up procedure as described in the online User manual.

Dial *86, then send. Or dial your 10-digit phone number and Send, as if you were calling yourself. Don't hit the # key; that's used after you have set up a passcode, and then call your VM, enter the passcode, then # to access your voicemail.
