I have a basic LG phone with Camera. No bells and whistles. I have about 90 pictures on my phone. I hooked up the USB from my phone to my computer, and window came up on my CD drive with 2 options. Run TL_Bootstrap.exe or Open folder to view files, the one which I selected. Upon doing so, it gave me no useful options in which to view or download my photos. What am I doing wrong?

Not all basic phones provide the option of using the USB cable to transfer files, unfortunately. Does your phone have an SD card? Which specific LG phone do you have?

NO SD card. It's an LG Extravert from about 3 years ago. The gentleman in the Verizon store told me I could download the photos. It does have USB storage on the phone, so I must be able to, yes?

If it shows a drive letter for the device while hooked to the computer simply navigate to the photos folder or dcim folder, choose select all and do either a copy & paste or a cut & paste to move them to a folder you create first on your desktop.
You could also use Bitpim program after you download it to your computer.
Good Luck
