How do you transfer pictures from your Verizon LG to your computer

(1) At www.verizonwireless.com , try typing in the search box in the upper right corner the name or model number of your phone and also one or two words like pictures or transfer pictures. Very often Verizon on their website has tutorials on how to transfer pictures.

(2) At this website about a third of the way down the page is a search box so that you can search this website for any previous discussions that people have had about your particular phone about how to transfer pictures.

Go to your photo. There should be an "Options" or "Send" button for that photo (may have to right click if you don't see it).

Scroll down and select "To Online Album."

You will need to do this for every photo you want to download.

Then, log into your online Verizon Wireless account.

Hover your mouse over "My Verizon" and select "View All" under the "My Messaging" column.

On the page it takes you to, you should see a link for "Manage Photo Album" in the upper left half of the web page.

After you click that link, you'll get taken to another webpage for Messaging where you'll need to find the same "Manage Photo Album" link again, except it should be on the right side instead.

You'll get taken to a Picture & Video Messaging page where you should see your photos and any videos.

Click on each photo and right click to "Save" or download to your computer.  You have the option to download a larger size of each image, which I recommend for quality.

As an easier alternative to the above time-consuming process, you can buy and insert a MicroSD Sim card into your phone for about $10-15. I HIGHLY recommend this because if your phone malfunctions or you accidentally damage it, it is usually the only easy way to retrieve your photos and videos.  Be sure to change the default setting to "Save to Card" instead of "Save to Phone" so that it automatically saves it to the card and you don't have to worry about selecting that setting for every photo. Retrieving photos using the Sim card method is as easy as taking the card out and inserting it into a Micro SD Sim card reader.  Some computers and laptops come with a card reader but if you don't have it, you can buy one for about $10-15 from any electronics or wireless retailer.

I send them one by one to my email as a picture text. Just input your email address in the to field of the text, attach the photo and sent. Mary

This may be the hard way, but I save them all on the chip. To do a transfer (in or out) I plug the chip into a USB adapter on the computer and move files around. You will see the various directories and you should save the files in a directory like MyDocuments/Phonefiles before copying them where you want them.

This also works to make midi files and MP3 files to listen to and use as ring tones.
