How to turn off emergency weather alerts on your LG

I have an LG.  I finally found it by clicking on "Message" NOT Menu.   So, you go Message, then DON'T click on anything in the menu.  Instead click on "settings", THEN scroll down to emergency alerts. Select emergency alerts and then click on Receive Alerts.  THEN go in and uncheck any of the alerts you don't want.  It was a pain in the *** finding this.
