I don not want the voice automatically coming on to tell me I have a call, voice mail, text, etc.?
Start by looking inyourphones Settings menu, Call Settings or Sound settings, Voice commands, Readout.... something along those lines.
If you have the user manual, check the index of Voice commands settings; if this doesn't help, then post back with your specific phone model and we can give you specific directions,a dn a link to your user manual.
