I forgot my phone lock password and my phone locked me out help?

I changed my screen lock password. I acidently forgot my password. My phone locked me out. Everytime I try it looks me out for longer mins. I need to fix it. Any help on what to do.

You'll have to do a hard reset which will reset the phone to default factory settings.

To perform a hard reset press and hold the power-, volume-down- and camera buttons until the phone vibrates. Then release the power-button and keep the other two buttons pressed for another five seconds. The phone should reset to factory settings.
