I need to turn off Voice Commands for Samsung Gusto. There is no Phone or Accessibility option after I press the left soft key and Settings.

Once I press the Menu button, Nuance starts and the Settings options is for Voice Commands only.

mbhinson, I can certainly assist in determining why you are having difficulty with the Voice Commands for your Samsung Gusto. The Voice Commands should only turn on if the Voice Command button is pressed. Is the option coming on at other times? Can you share more details about what is happening, so we can look into this more closely?

Yes, the voice command comes on automatically as soon as the phone is flipped open. The Nuance screen comes up and the phone starts talking. I have no way to access any Settings other than those for voice commands. Thank you.

We're eager to get this Voice Command feature issue resolved, mbhinson. When the Voice Command comes on, as soon as the phone is flipped open, can you press the left soft key for help or options?

Verizon Support,

Thanks for your assistance; the problem is resolved. I had the day off from work yesterday, so I took the phone to my local Verizon office. What was missing from the Internet directions was to push the bottom silver area to access the Menu Settings feature. Without pushing the bottom strip of the silver area, I only had access to the Voice Command settings.
