I switched to basic from iphone 5 while repair is being completed.  I can't send text. I can receice text.

Help has arrived! Let's take a closer look to see what's going on. Have you disabled the iMessaging feature on your iPhone prior to activating the basic phone? What zip code are you located in? Are you experiencing this issue when sending text messages to all users or just one in particular?
