Had a phone issue where mine is damaged and I did not have insurance. I was thinking if I get the same phone off ebay, verizon capable. Is it possible to activate it on my account with my p hone #? Or is that risky considering it came off ebay. They don't offer my phone for sale anymore thru verizon and would like the same one if possible so I'd have to buy elsewhere.

Yes, as noted in your other thread (How do I get a replacement for a broken phone when I did not have insurance on it?), ensure that the phone is Verizon branded with a clean ESN.

I have bought a few used phones one ebay and never had a problem. Just make sure to read seller feedback good. I try and buy from an individual rather than a store front that is selling phones mass market. You know someone that has one phone they are getting rid of because it's old and they want to upgrade. I just got my husbands Samsung alias that way and it was in great shape. Mary
