Verizon,

I waited for two and half hours last night at the Bel Air, MD Verizon store to trade in my iPhone 5 for the Icon.. and after I was called, the CSR questioned why I wanted to get the Icon and how much "Happier" I would be with a Galaxy S4 or iPhone 5s. After explaining my reasoning (which I should not have to explain) I was informed that the Icon is out of stock.. and according to him they only received FOUR units of the Icon..

FOUR units. Are you crazy?. This is one of the hottest Windows Phones out there and you're allocating FOUR units to this store?. I'm not ordering online since I cannot trade in the device and receive the $300 credit right then and there.

Instead of having several "Greeters", make them able to sell phones to people who know what they want.

If it wasn't for your network, I'd go AT&T or prepaid AIO.. Verizon's instore customer service processes are HORRIBLE.

Same thing happened to me, except I only had to wait 30 minutes.  The CSR tried to get me on a different phone.  He said they got "maybe 3" Icons.  I have since bought one from Amazon and have it running on my ATT network. Great phone.  Perfect size, weight and specs.

Thanks, but no thanks. There are some things i refuse to order online and a cellphone is one of those things. I've always gone into the store to check it.

Nothing beats trying it on for size so to speak.
