It has been 62 days since Microsoft released Cyan to carriers, how much longer is it going to take Verizon to release it to users?

Slower than waiting for VZ updates to Andriod. I'm just about ready to make the switch to ATT because of this nonsense.

Our WinPhone-based company made the switch TO Verizon based on getting the Icon, a "flagship" device that was de-facto sold by Verizon reps as having been "built for" 8.1, with 8.1 "around the corner".  Imagine my frustration to know that if I'd stuck with AT&T and my nearly **2 year old** Lumia 920, I'd have been rocking WP 8.1 for nearly 2 months now.  All the while, Verizon hasn't even had the decency to mutter a single word about when, if ever, we can expect 8.1 on their "flagship" they were so hot to sell us.

Join the club of forgotten Verizon customers.

Yeah, sad to say that if we were using AT&T right now, we'd already have Cyan officially available and installed. Meanwhile for Verizon we'll be lucky to see it in another month or two.

who's to say the next update you'd be waiting forever for that one too.  No US carrier has a pretty track record when it comes to updates in general.  AT&T isn't always the first, and isn't always the last either.  Verizon isn't that way either.

While this does add insult to injury, signing up for spam is not a solution.

I switched from AT&T to Verizon because of AT&T's slow updates and now they are the fast ones.

This is pathetic.

Seriously?? You want us to sign up for SPAM when we ask for a status of the upgrade? AT&T got it 2 months ago. The developer edition was out 8 months ago. What's your (evil) intention in holding back the upgrade? I have already started planning a switch to AT&T unless I see something soon. Pathetic...

So why don't you have a developer Edition? I am going to guess you didn't want to spent the coin for one....

You didn't ask me but as you appear to not know, the developer edition was free, incomplete, and a bit unstable.

All the other carriers have rolled out 8.1. At this point, some indication of progress really doesn't seem like too much to ask.

That's why those people got the update first then because they could care less if it is stable or complete. You want stable and complete so wait like the rest of the customers or leave it's not hard.

Thanks for your input. I'm not really interested in what a volunteer apologist has to say.

A schedule would be greatly preferred.

Sprint and T-Mobile hasn't.  So every other carrier is a false statement.  Also not all Nokia device around the world have been updated either.
