Keyboard problem with some websites?

When using Internet Explorer on some websites the keyboard will pop up when I touch a data field and then immediately close before I type anything. I assume it's a problem with the way the website is interpreting the input but I need to type information into these data fields somehow. Any way to  keep the keyboard open? THANKS!

I haven't seen this happen with our Lumia 928.  Perhaps the browser is not seeing the fields as text input fields?  Is this happening on a lot of websites?  Can you give me one or two so I can see if the same thing happens for me?

If it is a problem with the website design (not optimized for mobile, input fields not formatted, etc) then there's not a lot you can do.  If it's something else, then maybe I can help if I can see for myself what is or is not happening.
